Services for Michele

Michele Hall, 32, of Weatherford, Texas, passed on to Heaven on March 5, 2010, at home surrounded by her family and friends.

Services will be 11:30am Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8pm also at Greenwood.

She was born on December 7, 1977, in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Bill and Julia Hall. She was the oldest of three children and an Aunt to two nephews, whom she cherished. Michele touched the lives of so many as she was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. The sound of music always played in her ears as the love of singing was her passion. She had the Will of God in her heart as she witnessed to her family and friends until the end. Michele was courageous in her battle with lung cancer until God finally called her home.

Survived by her Mother and Father, Bill and Julia Hall and brothers, Michael and Jeremy Hall along with her nephews, Jacob and William.

If you would like to visit, the family has requested that you call her brother, Michael, at 817-223-1918 to make arrangments. However, keep in mind that Michele tires easily and may not always be up for visitors. Thanks for all your support, thoughts and prayers. The Hall family appreciates it deeply.

February Update on Michele

We regret having to "post" a message of this nature, but there is no better way to communicate this to all of you as quickly as needed. It is important that you are aware of Michele's state of health. Both the primary doctor and another who was consulted for a second opinion gave a prognosis of one to two months life expectancy. It has been extremely difficult, but Michele and her family are finding peace and living every day to the fullest. Please pray for them to find strength and comfort. Michele is getting weaker and needs your prayers. People have asked what they can do, and we recommend sending her a card of love and support. It not only brightens Michele's day, but her family as well. Thanks to everyone for the sincere kindness and love you have given and will continue giving Michele and the entire Hall family.

Update on Michele

Here is the latest update on Michele:

Good news first:

The mass in Michele's lungs has shrunk by 75%!! This is wonderful news! Her pain has been significantly reduced. The other cancer spots have gotten smaller as well, with the exception of her liver. They will continue to manage the cancer in her bones through radiation.

The bad news is that the cancer in her liver did not respond to chemo or radiation and has tripled in size. They now have her on Tarceva, which is an oral chemo pill, that she will take daily. They are hopeful that Tarceva will help with the liver cancer and shrink that as well. Trials for this medication have been very good for women who do not smoke.

Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated for Michele and her family.

A BIG THANKS to everyone who helped in the many fundraisers and benefits for Michele. The Casino Night and concert in Florida were hugely successful. I know it means the world to Michele and her family that everyone has put so much effort into helping them.

We will be planning more events to raise funds for the Hall Family after the holidays.
